Important information

In view of some changes to the Insurance Industry the CH1 examination has been updated. Both the learning material and examinations have changed. The new examination will come into effect on 1 July, 2015, and any new learning materials will be based on the new exam. The examinations on this basis will commence 1st July.

The Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters, under the guidance of its Examinations Committee and Council, have developed entry level qualifications. These qualifications demonstrate competence both to your colleagues, potential employers and to the public. Claims handling requires a multitude of skills and competences. By achieving the entry level qualification standards you will highlight your individual competence, you will gain further personal confidence and enhance your personal reputation.

The examinations are provided exclusively as computerised tests and the course material has been designed to be engaging and dynamic.
