The American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology (ABOG)
The ABOG examines and certifies nearly 1,700 obstetrician-gynecologists and subspecialists in maternal-fetal medicine, reproductive endocrinology/ infertility and gynecologic oncology each year.
Additionally, more than 5,000 physicians are examined annually for the purpose of maintenance of certification.
- Computer-Based Testing Tutorial and Practice Exam
Although the tutorial demonstrates many types of questions, the ABOG examinations only contain multiple choice questions. There is only one correct answer to each question.
Before scheduling an examination appointment, you must have already:
- Been approved for an ABOG written examination;
- Been notified of your eligibility to sit for the examination;
First-time test takers must create a Pearson VUE web account. If the name/address information you originally provided the ABOG is no longer accurate, you must resolve the discrepancies before you arrive at the test center. Appointments may be made up to one business day in advance.
After you schedule your test, Pearson VUE will send a confirmation letter listing your test date, your testing time, the address and phone number of the test center, and directions to the test center.
Your examination results will NOT be available at the test center. Results will be provided to you by ABOG.
